The Cathedral pics are mostly test shots while I waited for the return of the peregrines - only had to wait a week or so as it turned out.

The others are random stuff seen in and around town: the Terminator 2-style burned out cars are the aftermath of a garage fire, and they'd been moved out of the way by the demolition crew.

Going back to the docklands hosting facility to fix my broken server.  To be honest I only know this because when I came to re-do this gallery for the new, new gallery code I could read it on the first image, a picture of the Icon Bar report into what took the server offline.

The Roman Palace at Fishbourne, which was just across town from where I lived in Chichester, put on a day where a number of re-enactments took place - pottery and food, fine, but let's face it everyone was there for the battles.  And I just couldn't resist picking up a sword for myself.  My first, but not my last!

One of the largest villas found in the UK, and some of the earliest gardens, it was found by someone digging a hole for a new water main.  Now it's a mix of preserved mosaic floors, and recreated gardens.

I also went to the Celtic day there later on.

Visiting the British Museum in 2001, not long after the glass-roofed Great Court opened.
