Voyager Themes
Sound and icon themes for the Vixen theme manager

This is covered more in the article about Voyager icons, but to recap: I wrote a program called NewMail to intercept messages from Voyager and make appropriate "You got mail" type sounds. The original samples were expanded upon by themed packs, mostly using samples from popular TV shows and films.
With Voyager 2 came SoundTheme. This expanded on the original NewMail and could respond to almost any Voyager event, plus the option controls were built into the main Voyager program. Voyager 2 also had the ability to have image themes, and both image and sound themes could be stored in such a way that more than one could be present in the program and chosen from a menu, instead of having to overwrite the original sprite or sample files.

The program needed to get Voyager playing sound themes. Stored as a VIX module, just drop the file onto the large arrow on the VIX Manager window. To select new themes once they've been installed, you can use the Theme manager - it also allows other options such as size of icons, position of LEDs, and sound volume. |
