Hobbling on, the sun just happened to be in the perfect position to give me this view of the bridge out onto the west bank of the inlet.  I had meant to get to Fishbourne an hour or two earlier, but then I wouldn't have got this view of a bridge shining with reflected light.  Of course the water that caused this effect made the boards of the bridge treacherously slippery, but the darker area to the left is a textured area that got me across without getting my feet any wetter.
